The Earl D. Brown Sr. Scholarship
The chapter will award $1,500 worth of scholarships to 4 high school seniors and/or PVAMU students ($500 each). Each eligible candidate must complete and submit an application and essay entitled "How the Scholarship Would Enhance Your Academic Endeavors".
Choosing a Recipient
The Scholarship and Student Recruitment Committee will evaluate all applications and choose the recipient of the annual scholarship.
Application Criteria
1) Must reside in the southeast region (Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee or Florida) as determined by applicants' home address.

2) Must be a high school graduating senior with a letter of acceptance from Prairie View A&M University Admission Office or a current student with proof of enrollment.

3) Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

4) Be an active member of an academic, professional, or social organization.

5) Submit an essay (1000 words) addressing "How the Scholarship Would Enhance Your Academic Endeavors"
