Memorial Scholarship
We are now accepting applications for The Helen and Earl D. Brown Sr. Memorial Scholarship for Fall 2026!
Scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors and/or PVAMU students. Each eligible candidate must complete and submit an application and essay entitled "How the Scholarship Would Enhance Your Academic Endeavors".

Choosing a Recipient
The Scholarship and Student Recruitment Committee will evaluate all applications and choose the recipient of the annual scholarship.
Application Criteria:
1) Must reside in the southeast region (Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee or Florida) as determined by applicants' home address.

2) Must be a high school graduating senior with a letter of acceptance from Prairie View A&M University Admission Office or a current student with proof of enrollment.
​
3) Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
​
4) Be an active member of an academic, professional, or social organization.
​
5) Submit an essay (1000 words) addressing "How the Scholarship Would Enhance Your Academic Endeavors"
